Plant Sale

May 13, 2023

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

2400 Main Street, Glastonbury

We will follow all advice from state and local officials on the day of the sale. This may include mask wearing and social distancing. Plants will be set up for you to shop in a socially distanced way.

Our yearly plant sale, held on Mother’s Day weekend, highlights our commitment to sharing our “love of gardening” and furthers our quest “to beautify our homes, our yards and our community”

Perennials grown by our members are featured at the sale. A selection of  brightly blooming annuals, hanging baskets, vegetables and herbs, sourced from local farm stands, are also available for purchase.  All plants are well adapted to weather conditions in central Connecticut.  We also strive to provide a large selection of Native Plants and share the information on invasive species. Knowledge about how to grow the plants is freely shared by our members with anyone who asks.

Funds raised at the Plant Sale support our work at the Love Garden on Main Street, the Joyce Young Garden at Earl Park, and is used to fund other civic and educational projects that we undertake during the year.
