Committees and Awards

All members are required to participate on a committee as this is how all of the work of the garden club is carried out. Here is a list of our committees and committee members:

Awards and Honors: 

Reviews available awards from The Federated Garden Clubs of CT, Inc. and applies for appropriate recognition by designated deadline

Bylaws and Membership Handbook:

Reviews and recommends appropriate changes to the Bylaws and Member Handbook to the Executive Board and keeps the Member Handbook updated.

Civic & Exhibition:

Supervises and maintains civic projects and suggests new projects. Works with the Floral Design Committee to deliver floral arrangements to local community organizations.

Conservation and Environment:

Provides monthly information either at meetings or through email about local and national conservation efforts and environmental concerns, especially those of The Federations
